What big sisters are for!!

Brother Dennis celebrated his 48Th birthday in style last night... It is amazing what happens when you place a chair in the middle of the room at a party and crack up the tunes and tell the birthday boy to take off his clothes! Like the gracious host that he is, he simply said "OK" and started entertaining the crowd like he has done this all his life! And the guests started taking out their money, like "Oh its time to pay the stripper already?" OK....here ya go... perhaps I just need to get out more, but it seemed to me that this was the "norm" for the evening ?

Winter Wonderland in Oregon

Empty Nesters!!

Jay was the first to arrive, and the last to leave the nest. His next adventure has taken him to Davis California. Where he has a job waiting for him and his new found friends. He talks of college, but we shall see..... talk is cheap. I love my Jay bird......

What turning 13 looks like....

So here we have Justin and his buddies helping him celebrate his big 13th birthday! He is officially a TEENAGER! They are not going to pick up girls looking and acting like that!
Happy Birthday to my Justin Man You have so many fun things to look forward to... so many "First times" and probably a few....I will never do that again....

Family Day at Makena

A day at the beach with the older kids does not happen very often..Brandyn was great with the younger kids teaching them how to skim board....it was sooo funny! Here we have Justin....a brand new teenager...oh boy....

Family Summer Additions

Cousin Justin is not quite sure how he ended up with a six year old...but he is making the best of it. Miss Jessica is home for another week, and has been making sure these boys don't sleep or play video games all day.....welcome to Camp Ja-seek-a!!
What a hottie.....so fun to have the girl home.... I am not letting her leave.... she is just to much fun to have around!

LEFTY !!

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there! Here is a photo of my dad...Lefty. A picture tells a thousand words... Here we have my dad taking a much needed break from work. The tiled pool steps he is resting on is what he was creating. The coffee cup he is drinking out of is from the Thermos he kept for years. He would NEVER have paid the prices at Star bucks... if he knew what I paid for a cup of coffee and a gallon of gas he would roll over in his grave! Aw back to the picture... the cigarette he is smoking...(hind site huh dad...those things will kill you! ) Any way... it is a Winston...and the watch...yes on his right arm.... making him a true lefty! Ya know...most watches are made for right handed people and us lefty's have to turn the tiny knob in a very awkward position. My dad had the funniest sense of humor.... you could not help but laugh. He was creative, messy, stubborn as hell, he had a dirty mind, and a kind heart. He was the best!
His beverage of choice was a cold Coors beer.

He named all my friends he ever met "George" did not matter the gender. If you slapped him on the knee his opposite knee would jump out of control...so f_ _ _ ing funny! He talked in his sleep and you could have a chat with him in between his snores. One of my favorite story's of my dad is when my brother Robert and I made him run in his sleep...he laid in bed kicking away....only Lefty could do such a stunt :-)

Almost forgot about the Tatoo's on his arms...World War II army veteran.

So on this Fathers day...we honor our dads, and remember their smiles. :-)

HELP WANTED: DISHWASHER MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE!!

Anna Lynn decided that Jack and I should not return home from our inter Island get away to her sloppy boyfriends mess he left us in the kitchen....um see the cascade on top of the counter? Well, yea, that was the other green bottle under the sink....not the dish washing liquid! I really do need to have a chat with your mother.

Trouble Makers!!

Brandyn and Jack returned home from their snowboard/ski vacation. They went to Oregon and played on Mt. Bachelor. All went well until it was time to leave the mountain and go visit family in Washington. Lets see...Brandyn ran into some local Maui boys at a night club while out with his cousin and had a bit too much to drink...stumbles into his Aunties house at the wee hours...Jack manages to get into trouble with his sister Steph and brother Keith...time to come home boys!!

Lucky we live so far away yea!
