Tennis and Rain...Again!

Ok I know..another Tennis post... half asleep driving to the courts....Fuk....looks like rain again!



We found the sun and the WIND in Kihei at the Maui Sunset...Jane found a perfect spot to watch our match. Unlike last Sunday, today was a win....whew...about time...winning in this game is worth the early Sunday mornings!
Here we have Ms Lisa...insert orange peel in mouth and act like ET...this is what you do after you win your match ...eat oranges!

Tennis Troubles....

What we do for the game... get up early on Sunday mornings...rush to the courts to play our matches only to find wet courts and your captain telling you to get a roller and get busy, and how come you are so late! It is all part of the fun, part of the warm up. The good news is the sun came out and we were all able to play our matches...the bad news is we must have all used our talents on drying off the courts and the other guys took advantage of us and had the nerve to beat us. ...well...hey we all still had fun!

Not only is he a great tennis player, he is also the king of drying off the courts.

Green Acres in Haiku

Ray and I went out to visit our brother Dennis at his studio that happens to be in the middle of farm land in Haiku. Here we found one of the workers, not sure his real name, Dennis said it was"Horseshit" I am sure he is mispronouncing his name! He was not even drunk in this photo and he was still friendly. Thanks for the bananas Horseshit!

Dennis said these were grapefruits... but then again, he said that freindly guys name was.... my brothers lie to me all the time!
Ray beleives Dennis that it is a grapefruit.....

Before and After the Storms....

Driving to work last week Wednesday...the skies were grey and rainy. This was the kind of day you just want to stay in bed under the covers.



Driving Home the same day, we have our blue skies back and you remember why you love living on Maui. Upcountry Kula is looking pretty good for tennis tonight!
